LG Warranty
Boost Mobile and LG have enjoyed a long relationship. Backed by a one year warranty, LG customer care makes it easy to exchange your phone in the event something is wrong with the device. User-friendly customer service on the LG website allows you to request help, work with customer service to troubleshoot your phone, begin the return process and print a packing label without ever having to make a phone call. Turnaround time is usually 10 to 14 business days, sometimes shorter. While some people may balk at the idea of being without their phone for two weeks or more, it is worth it to have your phone repaired or replaced for free. Fortunately, it is rare for problems to crop up with LG devices and even more rare for them to exceed the skill level of a simple customer service web chat.
Whole Home Connectivity
Since LG is becoming synonymous with quality products across home entertainment, home security, and appliances, many LG products have built-in Wi-Fi capability and SmartThinq technology that allows them to connect with other LG devices, including your smartphone. Tiered Offerings
LG has two different tiers of smartphones - entry-level and high-end devices. LG understands that not everyone needs a high-end smartphone with all of the bells and whistles possible. That is why their entry-level smartphones are affordable with features many people look for in a basic phone. From 5 inch screens to 12-megapixel forward-facing cameras, LG devices continue to outperform every other brand's entry-level phone, including Samsung.
LG also offers high-end devices that feature waterproofing, wireless charging, and a camera that takes some of the best wide angle and panoramic pictures on the market. These models are often comparable in features to high-end Samsung and Apple devices, but often do not have the same screen quality that their competitors do. Still, their price point and warranty set them apart as a premier choice for smartphone enthusiasts.

LG Phone Batteries
Parents often joke that rather than take away their teen's phone, they simply hide all of the charging cables and watch as desperation sets in a few hours later. With the LG X Power and LG X Charge, parents may have to wait a few days, rather than a few hours, for their teen's phone to die. The LG X Power turned heads a few years back with a stunning 4,500 mAh charge. To give you an idea of what that means, other devices have between 1,500 and 2,000 mAh of battery charge. Instead of a full charge yielding a single day's normal usage, the LG X Power had a three-day battery life, and an available adapter gave owners the ability to charge other devices. In other words, the X Power was part phone and part power pack. Recently, the X Power has been phased out for the emerging X Charge. With the same 4,500 mAh charge, the X Charge also has three-day battery life as well as a 5.5-inch display screen and 13 MP camera.
While both the X Power and X Charge batteries are not removable, most LG batteries are. this makes it easier to perform a soft reset (removing the battery and putting it back in) when you have software issues or when you need to power cycle your phone. In fact, a lot of people miss this feature with Apple and Samsung devices that are reliant on internal batteries for increased battery life or waterproofing.
It is also important to note that it is impossible to repair a battery. It must be replaced. Even though we use many aftermarket parts to repair the phones that come into Forever Wireless, not all aftermarket parts are created equal. Nowhere is this more apparent than with batteries. That is why we only replace LG batteries with other LG brand batteries. Best case, low-quality aftermarket batteries result in your phone not holding a charge. Worst case, you can do irreparable harm to your phone and all of its data with bad batteries. You are better off to buy a slightly used LG brand battery that has been sourced from insurance repaired phones. Inexpensive and easy to come by, used batteries are certified to hold the same charge as their new counterparts.

LG phones use an LCD screen instead of the OLED screens on iPhone X and higher-end Samsung devices. Comparable to the screen quality in an iPhone 6, the biggest advantage to this type of screen is its availability and affordability. Since LG does not have authorized retailers and parts suppliers the way Apple does, parts are easy to come by, relatively inexpensive, and easy to use when making repairs. Screens come as an assembly with the LCD as well as the glass, similar to the way iPhone 6 replacement screens arrive. In order to replace the screen, the adhesive holding the phone together is softened and the frame is peeled away from the LCD and glass. The replacement glass and LCD assembly is inserted into the frame and new adhesive is applied. Many LG phone models have the option of including a new frame in the assembly. We always recommend including this extra piece in the assembly since peeling the old screen away from the frame and replacing it with a new one sometimes causes the screen to fit poorly.
The truth is, it does not usually make financial sense to replace the screen on an entry-level LG phone. Most people will choose to upgrade rather than repair. This is largely due to the cost of replacement, the availability of quality LG phones and the fact that most LG consumers are not investing in higher-end products. However, Forever Wireless can and will repair any LG phone should the owner find that there is data or information that they need to extract. To do this, we will replace the screen, extract any information, and either repair the phone or move the motherboard to a new device in order to preserve the data.

Most smartphone users don't think about how they are backing up their phone until their device goes for a swim in the toilet. Since LG phones are Android devices, Google Drive is easy to use and can be accessed on any PC. However, if you are upgrading from one LG phone to another, data migration has never been easier. Gone are the days of lost contacts, text messages, pictures and other data. The LG Sender app easily downloads information from one LG device to another. The only catch? Both devices need to have at least a 30 percent charge and both devices must be LG in order for the app to work. This is especially nice considering most people do not spend the money to repair their device should their screen or camera lens break. Instead, most will opt for a new phone with new features. Fortunately, the LG Sender app makes switching from one phone to the next a snap.
Replacement Camera Lenses
There it is. The perfect picture. You turn on your camera and find that there is a dark line running through your picture. You wipe off your phone's screen, only to discover that the problem is not with your screen, but with the camera lens itself. What do you do?
If you are like most people, you likely think, "Well, I guess I have to go buy a new phone."
In reality, you can have the camera lens on your LG phone replaced at Forever Wireless. Replacement camera lenses are easily available from third-party manufacturers. The repair is done by removing the back cover to the phone and then unscrewing the two screws that hold the camera lens in place. The damaged lens pops out with a pair of tweezers, taking care to save any volume or power buttons that may come off as well. The new lens is popped into place, screws are replaced and the back cover of the phone is put back on. Suddenly, the big black line in the middle of your picture is gone, and you can go back to Instagramming your brunch.

Like LG phone screen repairs, LG tablet repairs require a full screen assembly, rather than just replacing the glass. Like LG phone screen replacement, we recommend replacing the frame as well, when possible, in order to stabilize the screen and help the repair last longer.
